About Me
I've always been making things - literally anything my hands could make - since I was a child.
I don’t remember when I started making jewelry, but I do know I was making and selling a lot of jewelry in order to afford my obsession before I graduated high school. I had a firmly established a "store" in my dorm room by the time I graduated college, and DLJ was officially born in 2010.
After a brutal start of trying to work from tiny NYC apartments, freezing cold artisan fairs in church basements on Mulberry street, moving to multiple cities, getting my first jewelry studio in San Francisco, I finally settled back in Brooklyn. 15 years later DLJ as a brand has changed but my vision has always remained simple: I love the materials I work with, and base every design purely on the beauty of the materials I use.
