The Irony of Beer Quartz
It's International Beer Day! In celebration, we will discuss a very beautiful stone with a very apt name : beer quartz.
You don't need beer goggles to see that beer quartz is bangin, and as you might guess, it gets its name from its color (which is why it is sometimes called "whiskey quartz" as well). Beer quartz is a hard gemstone that casts light beautifully, and despite its name and gemstone family, beer quartz is generally on the expensive side.
Ironically, beer quartz's metaphysical properties contradict literally everything that beer stands for. Beer quartz is a "balancing stone" that is said to "sooth the stomach, liver, and colon." In addition (LOL) beer quartz is believed to "improve nervous coordination between the brain and muscles."
Welp, as Homer Simpson once said, "Here's to alcohol : the cause of, and solution to, all of life's problems."
