Article: Best Places to Eat and Drink Outdoors in Williamsburg : Week 3

Caracas Bar Williamsburg Brooklyn 11211 Grand Street

Best Places to Eat and Drink Outdoors in Williamsburg : Week 3

Caracas Bar, also on Grand Street, has a plant filled back yard with covered picnic tables and a happy hour 7 days a week from 4pm to 7pm, among other weekly specials.

I don’t usually like mixed drinks, but their Dark and Stormy is an exception.  They make it with fresh pressed ginger instead of ginger beer, and has a spicy kick to it.  They also have a solid smoky mezcal if you’re on that tequila train this summer.  Their arepas are delicious, and their guacamole comes with a medley of homemade tortilla and plantain chips.  Bonus points for the bartenders I’ve met, who have all been very friendly (but that might be the tequila talking).
